Short Course | Soft Sensors and Electronics for Wearable Medical Devices

The course is designed for engineers, researchers, and industry professionals interested in the design and fabrication of soft sensors and flexible electronics for wearable health technologies.

The WISH Center and K-GTSEC at Georgia Tech will offer a two-day short course on Soft Sensors and Electronics for Wearable Medical Devices on October 1–2, 2026. The course is designed for engineers, researchers, and industry professionals interested in the design and fabrication of soft sensors and flexible electronics for wearable health technologies.

The course combines expert lectures with hands-on laboratory sessions covering soft materials, device fabrication, characterization, and wearable system integration. Participants will gain practical experience in fabricating conductive soft materials and laser-induced graphene strain sensors, integrating sensors with wearable electronics, and evaluating device performance. The course is structured for participants with a STEM background and requires no extensive prior experience in soft-device fabrication.
