General Information
- Event requests must be submitted through the Event Management System (EMS). Reservations are not confirmed until you receive an official confirmation email. Please note that events cannot be confirmed more than six months in advance.
- Our standard operating hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. After-hours events may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Please contact ims-building@gatech.edu for more details.
- All reservations are self-service. IMS does not provide AV or event staffing.
- Event hosts are responsible for providing supplies such as easels, poster boards, extension cords, etc.
- Events must comply with Georgia Tech policies, including the Catering Providers Policy and the Campus Alcohol Policy.
- There is no fee to use the rooms, but IMS reserves the right to charge fees for any damages to the space or equipment, as well as cleaning fees if the room is left in an untidy condition. Failure to pay these fees will result in suspension of your department’s event reservation privileges until the fees are settled.
- Requests involving non-student minors require written pre-approval or exemption from Youth Programs Compliance before a reservation can be confirmed. No reservation involving non-student minors will be finalized without this approval. Learn more about GT Youth Programs.
