Georgia Tech Sports Technology Activity Roadmapping

Join us February 19th to create a roadmap to leverage GT activity in sports technology. This is your opportunity to connect with other GT faculty, staff and researchers addressing the growing sports technology market and envision our future work.  Please contact Jud Ready for additional information and to RSVP.

The Georgia Tech SPorts Research, INnovation & Technology (GT-SPRINT) Initiative was recently formed with an initial charge to develop a 5-year roadmap to leverage our research, academic, commercialization and athletic capabilities in the sports technology market

We are holding an initial convening for Georgia Tech faculty, staff and researchers interested in sports technology on February 19th from noon to 4:00 (lunch will be provided).  During this session we will connect faculty, staff and researchers addressing sports technology; identify current efforts; and develop an integrated roadmap to expand and accelerate Georgia Tech’s future involvement in this growing, dynamic and multi-faceted market.  The overall sports technology market was estimated to be worth $8.9B in 2018, growing to over $30B by 2026. Major growth drivers include improvements in equipment, venues, fan engagement, data-driven decisions/operations, and the ever-increasing number of amateur and professional athletes/sporting events (online and offline) worldwide.
